WORDNESS ;)

so school is almost over. thats sickness. its soo word that summer chillness is about to begin. i am already about a 5 on the tan scale but i am definatly hoping to get up to at least an 8 by my birthday.  then june will be when i hit my true potential and break to a full 100 % for my tan skin. today was a day filled with sickness and it was definatly a chillllll day that reminded me we graduate soon.

new longboard sponsorship

as last week came to a close, me and two of my friends received some groovy news. we currently ride for rhinoceros longboards and have them as a deck sponsorship, and a company from canada saw our videos and contacted us about a wheel sponsorship. that basically means new wheeeeeelssss! also that means that by friday we are suposed to have a new video done for them to promote with the release of a wheel that they are about to come out with. as the school year seems to be winding down quicker and quicker, more exciting things are happening yet i still have to focus on school alot....also, my concentration is something i really, really want to focus on, and so this last week i am going to buckle down, and art it up.

this weekend, along with wotking on my concentration and artin it up in my lair, i also went skating for a couple days in the sun! we had two gopro cameras and i used both and set m up in cool spots, making sure to see if each one would get a good shot, and what i came up with was a new video "Redhouse Hill". here it is, straight from bein edited.

this spring break ive been doing alot of recording n am playing a bunch of music with my bro. musics a crazy thing, its probably my true form of art that i can and like to do...ive finally had a chance to write some stuff and make some songs wth this week long break! oh and one more thing, if your the trife kid that stole my ipod then yeeah, im gonna want that back fool.

i just found some old canvas's in my room that i have started to paint on and use, ive layed down a lil bit o a background but just wanna get some ideas drawn on to start working and see what they look like! i want to develope my ideas much more this concentration check, and spend alot of time working on each of the two peices.  I feel like if i do that then hey maybe the peices will be gooooooooodness

i was looking through my sketchbook from last year and even from this summer and found a couple drawings and ideas that might be good to develope into acual peices.  It was supa interesting to see the different style changes and the different ideas i came up with.  I could remember what was going on a the moment i drew many of the well developed ones. overall i am a fan of sketchbooks!

this saturday kb and I skated some happy valley hills for the afternoon and i edited/filmed it all, puting it together right after! location- Happy Valley, Or- song- All Alone, the Gorillaz- skating- Kyle Broderick Lukas Ericson Tony Barrera. i kinda am liking filming, its like art but i can longboard while i make it, and i cant really longboard while i paint sooo...

Going Pro with the gopro

lately ive been messing around with a helmet cam i got for christmas.  Its been wet for everrr so i really have only filmed a little bt of longboarding, but so far its been amazing. Its totally hd and has a super wide angled lens that catches errything.  Ive filmed and edited 3 shorts and just finished my last one which i just did for fun yesterday.  Its actually pretty awesome to work in an artistic way while also doing what i love- longboarding-

technology blows

so with all this technology stuff due like the pictures and blog, i am quite angry at my computer and the cords that are suposed to work. well yep, i am very angry and in a bad mood because of this. boohoot.

shredness

liquids and fluid motion is my concentration....and ya i kinda get thirsty everytime i do art no. but ive been thinking of different ideas to portray these ideas.  Liquid and motion doesnt have to be a literal interpretation of this at all. i think the idea of the fluidity of solid objects could be awesome, although unrealistic i think itd be interesting.  i want to move away from the literal sense of liquids, cuz then the peices are too self explanatory and to me are boring...so im thinkin about doing much more "different" ways to show liquids. it might turn out to look like im crazy, but whatev fools...oh btw ducks are going to the national championships. yeah. oooooooo quackers go! later fools

quack attack

the oregon ducks are number one in the nation now fools. yeah go ducks. so art. i have a couple ideas fo my concentration.  I love drawing in a couple different styles and stuff so want to try to do a topic where i could exploit that style of drawing.  Also though, i want to encorporate things that interest me a ton.  This is hard to do.  First off i thought up the idea of exploring liquids and fluids for my concentration.  this in part stems from my love of mountain dew.  then i started realizing how big of an impact music has on me.  Without music, really there would be no art for me.  This makes me want to try to use music somehow.  I have been really interested in the musical movements of rap ect in the past, but idk that wont be anything i can do in a concentration, but maybe i could use music in one of my peices for a different topic.  Finally, i was thinking about food and how itd be pretty sickness to do one on mexican food or like another certain type of food. cuz im hungry right now soooo yup. haha ill figure it... later skater

MOUNTAIN BREEZE

i am a fan of mountain dew. right now i am drinking some mountain breeze, which is the safeway brand of dew....i have been hyper for quite a while and cant decide on what to blog about. im not the blogging type, cuz i just seem foolish updating stuff about me. but anyway i have been thinking on what to do for the upcoming family portrait. there are so many aspects of my family that could be included in a picture, yet i feel as if i dont want to just leave it at that. i want a picture that truly captures the inside, not our favorite "activities" etc. also it feels as if everyones knee jerk reaction will be to just snap a photo that is staged with items that describe their siblings and/or parents/guardians/pets/house/whateva. the trouble i am having is having enough time to sit down and think up ideas seeing that i have ap euro.and well, that class is SO EASY and NOT HARD at all....psych.  well i dunno ill get back to my dew, and to thinking about the family portrait! wahoot, later skater alligators

so its kinda late...my computer is fricken slow and making me very angry. well i am looking forward to this year! wooo. Im supa excited to get things going and start some art, and am hoping to find a concentration fairly soon but yaaa i dunno what!this summer i spent alot of time with a sketchbook, and drew some, but mostly colored in this sesame street coloring book i got. i really love coloring books actually.i also love crayons quite a bit too. well cool, ummm later alligator....
