I think out of the two, my favorite one would be the first one. It has good unity and depth and the detail of the circles, with the other tiny circles, have a cool pattern. I guess a critique I would give for the first peice would be to add more purple behind the other three circles. For the second peice, though I think it would be good to add more texture to the green space or add an object to fill the green space so it's more balanced. I think it worked out, for not being rushed.
It seems to me that the second one is more related to your concentration, so maybe make the first one to look more liquidy. Yea, the second one looks like it needs more work. It looks like it's not completely done since there are not much going on there.
I disagree with Chenmaster. I prefer the second one because of the simplicity and the contrasting bold colors. It might be too plain, had it not been for the random, yet interesting texture you have going on under there.
Relating to Fluid motion-- I think that the second one also captures the theme a little better. Both pieces strongly demonstrate your style without sticking to one boring old design or anything. I'm always interested to see your new twists with it. I almost think you should go back to what you did in your sketchbooks last year (at least for like 1 piece) and integrate a photograph into your piece. But that's just me.
